Em Brown slowly unfolds an intriguing and suspenseful look into their relationship by seamlessly weaving the past and the present events. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough with Ms. Brown dangling that carrot for the next tasteful morsel. A few chapters in and I was hooked.

Now she has to pay, but Bridget has something she’s hiding from Darren that may be a game changer. This installment of Darren and Bridget’s story has his/her POV of past and present and will suck you in from the first chapter.

I loved this book! All of the characters are amazing even the one’s you don’t like so much. I love how the story cuts back and forth from past to present with both POV. The chemistry between Bridget and Darren is steamy hot.

He is a gangster but he also has a heart….twisted, yes, but a heart. Bridget has a secret she is desperately trying to conceal. I can only imagine the fallout when she lays all of her cards on the table! I am absolutely looking forward to the next episode.
