This was a wonderful read set in a wester backdrop which put a very different spin on this story and I look forward to future books in this series.

An awesome historical western with a bit of domestic discipline is Ms. Phelps’s tale. Danger, drama, and such a sweet romance oh, I almost forgot there is a bit of steam too. I enjoyed this book so much if you do not mind a bit of spanking then this is a book you will enjoy too.

I found this story romantic, interesting, fast-paced and charming. I loved catching up with characters from the previous book and found everything about it to be warm and inviting with a good touch of spice.

There is plenty of adventure and a surprise ending that ties up loose ends and even opens the door for the next story. At least, I hope so. I’d enjoy reading more from this clan. A++

The interaction between the characters is amusing and they knew how to rile one another’s temper. Their love develops as they go on the run to keep Ellie safe.
