Captured by pirates with only a week to live, Tyral NaRaxos is on the verge of losing all hope. With no denya, he is doomed to die on his next birthday, if his captors don’t finish the job first.
A price on her head…
Someone is after Dorsey Kwan and she doesn’t know why. Captured by pirates, she’s wasting away, dreading death or slavery. A chance escape with a fellow prisoner gives them both a chance, but nowhere is safe with a bounty on her head.
A desperate passion…
From the moment he sees her, Ty knows Dorsey is his mate. But even if they can defeat the pirates, there are worse enemies after both of them. A man living on borrowed time doesn’t care about making enemies, but given the chance he will fight with everything he has to ensure his mate’s survival… and his own.

Note to self: don’t sleep with the gorgeous, tattooed, motorcycle-driving hottie after a friend’s train wreck of a bachelorette party.
Especially not when he looks at you like he wants to devour you.
Especially not when he’s a little younger looking than you.
Especially not when it turns out he’s your newest student.
Ethan Scott is the kind of man your mother warns you about. Reckless, cocky af, damaged, beautiful, of course, and completely irresistible. And if that weren’t a long enough laundry list of reasons to stay away?
…He’s also eight years my junior, and my student at the private high school where I teach art.
Winchester Academy’s newest bad boy student—my student—is utterly off limits. The problem is, he’s also gorgeous, tempting, addicting, and has me wrapped around his freaking finger.
The other problem is, I already slept with him.
He’s the firecracker waiting to blow, the spark that sets off the fire. He’s broken, and this whole thing could break us both. But something about him makes me go crazy. Something about him makes me say yes instead of no.
Something about him has me aching for more, no matter the consequences.
…This might be a problem.

Writer’s block. A critical deadline. A blizzard and a couple of dangerous escaped fugitives on the loose. What else could go wrong?
Try being forcibly removed from my rental cabin by a couple of mouth-droppingly sexy men from the ranger patrol, insisting it was for my own good. Own-good my ass! I had work to do and they were seriously messing with my timeline. I could handle myself, thank you very much.
However, what I felt to be an outrageous violation of my rights seems to be turning into just what I may have needed when the three of us become snowed in and we only have each other to keep ourselves entertained, spiking the creative juices in me to an all-time high.
The problem is that our situation is only temporary, and they’ve been very clear they’re not into the whole relationship thing. I just need to keep emotions out of it and use them for inspiration–sadly that’s easier said than done…
